Should religion and spirituality be allowed in the work place, why or why not? If allowed what responsibility does the organization have concerning

Religion should NOT be allowed in the workplace because there are too many different and conflicting beliefs that would cause mistrust, arguments and possibly even violence at the office. Your parents should have told you there are two things you should never discuss in public, religion and politics. there is a good reason for that.

The workplace is somether to do just that . . . work. It is not supposed to be a place to practice or advicate your religion. If you want to feel religious in the workplace, wear a necklace with a cross, or Star of David, or somethign appripriate. You certainly don't have to show off to anyone what your religion is or what you believe. Save that for church.

Why not the trinity are all spirit in thier work place !

I feel you should not hold your words. In matthew 10, Jesus said if YOU CONFESS ME BEFORE MAN I WILL CONFESS YOU BEFORE MY FATHER, YOU DENY ME BEFORE MAN I WILL DENY YOU BEFORE MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.Not i do not feel as though you are suppose to straight out have church or a screaming match. But i can tell you, i am decreet. But i do not QUENCH the HOLY SPIRITt. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and I will take his Goodness where ever I go. He has been good to me. I OVER COME BY THE POWER oF MY TESTIMONY> There are times when the spirit will tell me to be quiet, you must listen. He knows when I am not to say anything. People scream and shout at games. They talk about everything else at jobs.some jobs do oppose and some do not say away thing

But who's to say what faith is the correct faith? Christians beleive their faith is the one true religion, as does Islam, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, etc. That's why religion should not be allowed in the workplace as everyone has a right to their own religion. At least in the US.

Religion and spirituality are personal beliefs that are completely the responsibility of the beleiver. If you want to pray or meditate privately at the coffee pot or in the break room- no one can stop you. On the other hand, not being religious or spiritual is also a personal choice and no one can change that except the non-believer. Keepit to your self or find people that feel the way you do and quietly and respectfully meet at the coffee pot in the morning or before going home. I say respectfully because you wouldn't want someone to interrupt you with their alternate or insulting "beleifs" so don't do it to them. And why would you want the organization to have any say in it. They already tell you when to take a break and when to go home, leave something for yourself to decide.

I respect a person's belief I do not have to agree with it. But I know there is ONLY ONE WAY, AND THAT IS THROUGH THE SON(JESUS)............................................................ ........................

Qbillib, I respect the way you said what you said. I do not want a union telling me anything about my religion. But like I said the spirit (whatever you believe) if you listen it will tell you what and when to say anything. It will bear witness. If any of you have known the things that I have been through, I will not control it. And Yes Some Times it Needs not to be Mention? I say all times it needs to be mention.There is only one way to God, and that is through his son Jesus Christ.No man can nor will get to God but by Jesus. I repect each one of you,but when It talks about the lord I can not and will not,hinder my words.

If people are pushing them selves or their religion on you, then there is a problem. I just (when led by the Holy Spirit) to plant a seed. Sometimes someone may be depressed and I might just feel or sense it to say every thing will be alright or God Bless you. I know when to hold my MULE on my job. Some people just wants to show case, what I do is led.......................by the holy Spirit.........................

You are supposed to work at the work place hense the name work place and then we have church a place for religous worship the simple point save your beliefs for out side the work place unless you work in a church or other religous organization ===i belive in your right to worship and belive anything you want just dont push it on the people you work with until after work
