Michael Jordan played at the Unviersity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1981-1984. He made the game winning shot in the Championship game in 1982, and entered the draft in 1984. On that championship team in 1982 included Sam Perkins and James Worthy and with these three players may have been one of the most talented college basketball teams of all-time.

Michael Jordan attented the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is here where the legend of Jordan began especially with his winning shot in the 1982 NCAA National Championship game against the Georgetown Hoyas. He would go on to become a First-Team All-American and was a first round draft pick of the Chicago Bulls in 1984.
