Can you make money investing in sports memorabilia?

My dad left me tons of sports stuff him and his brother have saved all of their lives. He was hoping I would make a business to sustain myself from them. Can you make a living trading this stuff?

Yeah, you can.

If you have a set amount of stuff right now, that will only make you so much money, assuming you find someone willing to pay what you want for it.

To really make a sustainable business selling it, you need an ongoing way to collect or create new memorabilia or to have a way where people bring stuff to you, that you buy, then turn around mark up and resell. If not, you are just turning what you have now into x dollars and you are done with it.

You could either do a old fashioned brick and mortar store, or do it all online with your own website or just use eBay.
