I can't find any waders under $40

Walmart and walmart.com are good sources for inexpensive fishing gear including waders.

I would suggest looking at a second hand store, preferably one that specializes in sporting goods or has a lot of sporting goods in it. Goodwill might be an option, but a place like Play It Again Sports would be a better resource, depending if there's one in your area.

With getting a used one for under $40, you are most likely getting a better quality pair of waders than buying a new one for under $40. I looked at my local sport's store for waders once, just for fun, and didn't see one under $80! I was amazed, and determined that it would be best to get a good quality pair since I'm going to be paying a lot anyways.

$40 is not to much for waders. About as cheap you go, to get some to last more a month.
