Preston North End histroy goes back a long way orginally strating out as a cricket club. There was a split in the board members of the club and some decided to move away and they called themselves North End. This was as they had moved to the North End of the City at Moor Park. The club then fell into money problems and re-selected board members. They then made a choice to move to Deepdale and create a football club on 21st January 1875.
