What is the most challenging endurance feat you have ever attempted or signed up to do?

What is the most challenging endurance feat you have ever attempted or signed up to do?

Was it running a 5k, a 10k, a marathon, triathlon, half Ironman, Ironman, something else?

I just signed up for the craziest endurance feat I've done to date. I've done marathons and all that, I've raced up 14ers before. But this year, it is something bigger.

This August I'll be racing up 13.32 miles and 8,000 vertical feet to the top of Pike's Peak on a Saturday. Then on Sunday, I'll be doing it again, but this time, I'll be running back down.

Time to start ramping up the mileage and figuring out a training plan to do it.

So back to the original Question, what is the craziest or most challenging thing you've done?

Lets see, so far having a baby. No just kidding, you get to have drugs to help with that.

No seriously - have you ever heard of Ms. Fitness competitions. Ok - it's not China and big body building women like you think. It's a competition where you perform a routine that's about 1 and 1/2 minutes long and there is dance, tumbling, and strength. Well I trained for one in college and it got canceled, but I have always wanted to do one, so there is another armature competition I am planning to compete in. The actual event itself is difficult even though it's only a short routine, but it will take a TON of training including dance, strength and gymnastics - hopefully they won't cancel it this year. lol

Someday I would love to do a kick boxing tournament just because I like it, but the bag doesn't hit back, so we'll see about that!

Training and competing in a 7-round full contact MT KB match. Fortunately, the fight was over in the fourth.
