1099-R

I have a gross distribution report from Wal-Mart profit sharing. Will I get some of the federal taxes back and is this money considered earned income for 2007? I made very little last year and this may help me qualify for the rebate later this year..

If it is considered earned income you should be able to count it towards the rebate check this summer.
