If my wife has a 401K and her check says taxable income and her wages are higher for social secerity and medicare which one d... I am trying to do my taxes from the last check of the year.

Can i allow a court to seize/withdraw money from my 401K to satisfy a debt that is now being garnished from my wages? I need to stop this garnishment as soon as possible and the only funds i have are in my 401K....

Question: In the past the 401K contribution reduced all taxable wages dollar for dollar except OASDI and FICA. Is this still the correct statement.

Actually 401ks are pretax, before any state /federal taxes
