$600 rebates

If you are paying monthly payments on back taxes, are we still going to get the rebates coming this year, or do they apply that to our back taxes?

it is probably going to be unrelated to the taxes that you have to file for this april as these rebates won't go out until the summer.

As far as if it applies to back taxes, I'm not sure, i'm not sure if the government even knows that question yet.

Actually if you owe child support, back taxes or have delinquent student loans they can take your refund for this year. To see if they have submitted a claim to take your refund to offset your debt you can call the US Treasury Department's Financial Management Service at 1-800-304-3107.
