College dependent

My 19 year old daughter is claimed as a dependent on my taxes. If she worked during 2007 does she have to file a return of her own?

She should file a 1040EZ & get her refund back!!

It depends on how much she made. if she made less then about $8,600, then no, she doesn't have too. if she made more then that, then she will.

if she does file taxes, she can't claim herself as you are doing that.
