Income

If a child is 13 years old and lives with both parents at home and has income of 3,500 and had taxes taken out of Fed. 350.00, Srate 140.00, and FICA 267.75 What do I do?

How is your child making money at 13? He can file a return by himself, but on the 1040EZ, it will ask if he can be claimed by someone else, he must check that stating that he is not claiming himself so that you can claim him as your dependent on your taxes.

I would do an efile since it's such a simple return.
