Direct deposit-where is it?

My last 2 digits of my ssn is 51. i am recieving ssdi benefits and did not have to file last year but was told that i could file for the stimulus payment and i submitted over the phone with the assistance of an irs rep and was told i am due to recieve $300 and arranged to have it dir dep int omy bank acct. i recieved a letter by post ofc mail today saying that i am to expect the $300 on the 6th of june. i believe today is the 7th of june and the money is not in my mail or in my bank acct. can someone please tell me where it is?thank you i need it so badly.

There are a lot of issues that could keep you from or delaying your stimulus refund:

- Problems with the systems as kbky11 mentioned
- If you filed with turbotax you will get a paper check instead of direct deposit
- If you owe money for child support, back taxes or student loans
- If you did not get direct deposit for your tax return
- If you used a H&R Block card for your refund
- If you filed after April 15th, 2008
- If you filed a paper return as opposed to to efiling
- If there is a delay in processing your tax return

There are a lot of factors that go into when you get your stimulus payment, but hey it's free money. Better later than never I say!
