Yes most countries do have a tax for property or real estate that is fixed. It is based on the value of the property most of the time but not in all cases.

Most countries have now become westernized so to speak. So the laws like here in America are found all over the world. We have a great judicial system here in America. So it has spread around the world. Property taxes are part of those laws. So the answer is yes most countries do have property taxes or some type of equivalent.
