Federal Income Tax

In June 2007 I had a lef amputation. Since I am considered handicap are there any special deductions I may qualify for?

If you had a lot of medical expenses you may be able to deduct those. Are you on disability or do you still work. Sorry I don't know of any specific tax laws concerning and amputation other than medical deductions.

Medical expenses you continue to incur, and home improvemnts you made to accomodate your handicap. Medical expenses must be 7.5% or more of your adjusted gross income. Check out publication 502 from the IRS to see all you can use for deductioins
