Federal taxe return seized because of non repayment of student loans.

My daughter has had her federal tax returns seized for 2005 and 2006. Today she called to see what her balance was on her student loans and was told that they do not see where her taxes were deducted from her balance. All they show is the garnishment from her employer. H and R Block did her taxes in those years and are the ones who told her her refunds were seized.

Whom do we contact to find out where those returns are??

Thank you

Check back in your paperwork or you could contact your state education department but usually when the loan goes into default they hand it over to a collection agency that deals with all of that like DCS.

Here is a list of the collection agencies.
