If the house was in both your names, you may not be able to claim any of it, unless you get her to agree to give you part of the interest and property taxes.

Claiming intrest on house
I got divorced last year me and my ex wife owned a house together, she assumed the house into her name, my name is off the title and mortgage she owns the house now. my question is do i still get to claim part of the interest from the 9 payments i help make last year.
i live in michigan if that makes any difference
