I have changed banks since I filed. Received letter stating Stimulus Payment is being direct deposit. How do I get it mailed?

I have changed banks since filed. Receive letter stating Stimulus Payment being direct deposit. How do I get correct banking infro to IRS or to get check mailed. Have tried calling phone number on letter with no results but to try again another day.

Chances are, when they try to deposit it, it will fail and then they will put you in the queue to get it mailed.

I read it somewhere on the irs website that this what they will be doing with it.

The check will be tried to be direct deposited. it should fail, then you will get a check in the mail
