Is pension income subject to medicare tax

Will my employer withhold medicare tax on my pension income? In other words, is the pension income subject to medicare tax?

Pension distributions are not subject to Medicare tax, only regular income tax (and penalties, if not a regular distribution).

I'd be kind of surprised if your employer were issuing a pension check -- pension moneys are held by funds and/or trusts. They know which taxes they can withhold.
