My Mom lives with me and her only source of income is her social security check (approximately 1000.00 per month). I tried to claim her on my taxes last year as I am the one she lives with, I buy the groceries...

If a person is on social security for disabily (under 65) do they have to include it in the income? Also if they due owe child support is it above and in addition to the social security befefit for the children?...
