No one here can tell you when you will get his Federal return money. Only the IRS can tell you that, because each case is different. There may be some reason that it is being help up. For example, if you owe the IRS any back taxes, they will deduct those first before they pay you.
Often these agency themselves cannot tell you, in which unfortunately you will just have to wait.

My ex husband owes back child support. He recieved a letter stating i will get his income tax refund. I recieved the state check.
My ex husband owes back child support. He recieved a letter stating i will get his income tax refund. I recieved the state check. When will i get his Federal? He filed in March it is now November? DHR cannot tell me anything.

I do not owe any back taxes neither does he. Just thought someone else had been through the same thing! The IRS wont tell me ANYTHING!
