Do I pay taxes on workmans comp?

I have ben on workmans comp in Washinton State since 01/04/2007. do they send me a 1099 or what. My wife works 2 part time jobs

I'm not sure off hand, but I think that you will probably have to pay taxes on it. so you probably will get a 1099 in the mail for it.

I live in Ct and have been on workmans comp since 1999 as my injury has been on going and they have never sent me any forms for taxes, in my state it is suppose to be tax free
