Earn income credit.

I received my federal taxes on 02/22/08. Howeer, i forgot to file for my earn income credit. The irs sent me a form to complete and mail back to them. It has been 3 months and i still have not received the money. The irs acknowledges that they have received my paperwork. Is their anyone i can talk too about this. How long does it take to get the refund back?
