How to determine when sales tax should be paid.
The company I am currently working for is under going an audit. If the service was for a promotional item should the company pay sales tax? How would I know by looking at an invoice from my company if the item sold or purchsed should have been taxed? What resource is available on line that would provide an accountant with tax questions?
