Self Employmment Income

I am a drummer in a band and would like to claim income for which I did not receive a 1099. The band did not make enough last year for our manager to provide us with 1099s. I want to claim this income because I had a number of expenses related to this band last year and I spent far more than I made. The band also practices in my house so I want to deduct a protion of my mortgage and bills related to the practice space. I also have a vehicle that is solely used for the band and would like to deduct the insurance for this vehicle. Can I do these thing without proof of income? If so, how do I do this?
Thank you.

I found this article a couple of days ago and this guy explains how this whole self-employment filing works. Even though this lady had a 1099-MISC you would still file the same way on a schedule C. He also tells you about the Self-Employment tax and how to work it.
