What can be deducted for a diabetic ( supplies, medications, Dr. visits, etc.)

Quick run down, you can deduct $0.20/mile that you had to drive to receive medical treatment, Prescriptions, Hospital Services, Insurance Premiums, Lab Fees, Transplants, Surgery, to name a few. Check the link to see what all applies to you.

Remember too that you can only deduct medical expenses (1) if you itemize your taxes (2) the amount that is over 7.5% of your gross income.
