Sales Tax

How do I figure the amount of gross sales, if I know the total amount paid and the sales tax percentage paid?

Sales tax = gross sales*percent sales tax,

gross sales = total sales tax paid/percent sales tax.

For example if sales tax is 6% = .06, and total sales tax paid is $6,000, than gross sales = 6000/.06 = $100000
