Stimulus rebates, who and how

I have heard several different answers for the amounts recieved for the rebate checks. I have one child, in college. He earned over $3,000, but under $4,000. Will he get a check?

I was also head of household and paid in more than $600 in taxes. Which amount should I expect?

Yes, your child should get a $300 check or so , assuming he filed taxes in April.

If you were a single parent and earned about $75,000 or less you'll get $600, or if you are married and made less then $155,000 or so, you'll get $1200. for every $1,000 over that you'll get a check that is $50 less.
