Tax rebate

Although I pay taxes throughout the year, apparently I didn't pay enough. After filing my 2007 taxes, I will need to be set up on a payment plan. When the tax rebate checks are mailed out, will the IRS keep mine and deduct it from what I owe them?

If by a payment plan you mean they just want you to file estimated quarterly taxes for the year 2008, then they should not deduct the rebate from what you owe. However, if your payment plan is to pay what you owe for 2007 then I have no idea.
