About a tuner

I just bought a vhs/dvd combo and on the box it says i need a tuner it will not hook up to my cable . i have the cable that hooks up to the tv. and what is a tuner.

This is the box that you get from Comcast or your local cable provider that descrambles the signal. it will be an additional black box type thing that is plugged in to the tv.

call your cable person and let them know you need a cable box if you don't already have one.
