Fire hazard of faulty circuit breakers

Had our electrical disconnected by edison. They reconnected it today. One section of the house plugs went out. There was a flicker and then it was off. Upon inspection of the fuse box, I heard a slight sizzling sound. I touched the circuit breaker with the back of my hand and it was warm. Is there a fire hazard I should be concerned about?

Bought all new breakers. The 100 amp main service disconnect had indeed burned. Luckly the metal box contained all damage. My Dad is an electricia lol, but he was out of town and unavailable.
He also checked to make sure there wasn't a major short that caused it in the first place. As it turns out, the 100 amp cb was just plain old. The solution was to replace all of them, with brand new ones. So far everything has worked out great.
