HD TV

I have a 37 inch flatscreen by Magnavox (about a year old). It works great when it's on, but the last couple of days I have trouble turning it on. The power light will come on like normal, but then will flash a couple times and go off and the TV won't come on. I've tried the button on the set and the remote and both do the same. It will come on eventually, but it takes a few minutes. What could the problem be? Simple fix?

Not sure. Don't have an HDTV or anything. I watch most of my TV through a USB tuner on my wide screen LCD screen for my computer.

Your gonna have to take it off the wall, on the back you will see numerouse little holes, one should be marked "reset" you will need a long pointy tool to get to the button in there, a toothpick is not long enough, I use the nut pick tool that comes with a nut cracker set ;) If that doesn't work, your power chip may have gone bad so you should check your warrenty, there should be a phone number on the back of your tv you can call, mine went out after the warrenty was up and is cost me $130 to have it replaced, much cheaper than a new tv. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Going to try the reset thing and I'm pretty sure it's still under warrenty!

We didn't have a reset button on back, but tech support had us do a soft reset by unplugging for 30 seconds and it worked.
