It's easy if your computer has a read/write CD-ROM player.

- Open itunes > Edit > Preferences
- Click on the Advanced tab > Bruning
- Select Disc format > MP3 CD
- Still in the Advanced Tab, Click on the Importing tab
- Import Using menu = MP3, Setting menu = High Quality (160 kbps)
- Click OK

- Now, create a playlist with the songs you want to convert to MP3s.
- Insert a blank CD, then click on the Burn Disk icon
- IMPORTANT >> When the CD is done, leave it in the CD tray - this leaves the encoding data.
- Next, import the songs from the CD
- Open the itunes folder on your hard drive, the MP3s are located in there.

i disagree with this strategy of changing the encoding format.

by doing it this way, you massively degrading the already poor quality of the iTunes acc format even more to convert them to MP3s.

use a program like this, and it will retain much more of the sound quality
