Usually you don't need a product key to use a free trial product from Microsoft such as Microsoft Office.

If you are converting it to a full version of the product or to enter your product key (Microsoft Office 2007) click on the Microsoft Office logo that is on the upper left hand corner of the Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel Window. From the drop down menu click on Word or Excel options. This will be at the bottom right hand corner of the drop down menu. From the new list of options, select Resources from the left hand pane. From the list of options on the right hand of the window, chose Activate Microsoft Office. The activation wizard will start up and ask you whether or not you want to convert office. Click convert. A new window will open, chose "enter product key" and click continue. Type in the 25 character product key and click continue. Follow the rest of the wizard and you're done!

Or

You can go to Start, Programs (All progams if you have Vista), Microsoft Office, Click on the Activation Assistant and follow the rest of the instructions from there. Good luck!
