How do i reset my sound card on my t42 so that i can play windows media player?

Had to kill o/s and reset. now the media player will not play because it states that the sound device is not working. i have no original drivers disc nor did i back up the drivers because i did not know how. what can i do at this point?

You should be able to go to the manufacturer's website and download the necessary drivers from their support section
