Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration.

A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

Hope this helps you.

Google wave is like an instant message programme on steroids. It allows you to form a meeting in real time between people and share documents or anything else that is tabled. You can collaborate about any content that any meeting member wishes to contribute & discuss & even edit!

It's like being in a virtual meeting where if someone wants to contribute something they can pass it around a table where people can talk & share it.

This is a new product where new plug ins are being developed.

Here's a screen capture showing Google Wave.

Googie Wave is their product to compete with Microsofts ability to have a conversation over a document in real-time, but in a more un-professional, colourful way. Thats all it is. There are many programs out there that can do this. This is just Googles shot at a piece of the pie :)

Hope this helps!
