Do you prefer MySpace or FaceBook?

I prefer facebook but it's all about what works best for you. I wold suggest trying both out and seeing which one you like best.

I don't have either account, but it just comes down to the way you choose to communicate.

Myspace seems to cater to a younger crowd, one that is more familiar with the internet and is willing to take the time to customize their profile. Myspace users also seem to be more willing to personalize their page with content, such as music and pictures, that represent their beliefs and lifestyle. If you want an account that more closely reflects your individuality and tastes in style and music, MySpace will work.

Facebook seems to be more appropriate for people who just want a straightforward connection to their friends, and are not interested in showing their taste in music. It is also more focused on what's happening now, similar to twitter, but it allows you to post videos and pictures, and allows people to comment on them. There is, like MySpace, an element of social gaming with Farmville, Mafia Wars, etc.

Choosing one or the other simply comes down to what you want out of a social networking site. MySpace is a bit more personal, with the ability to customize your profile and the people that you have in your friend list might be musicians, actors, or other performers that you may not necessarily have a personal relationship. Facebook also has that element, but is focused on people who you know commenting on what you're doing now.

Both are sites with tons of members, providing you with a place to connect with your high school friends and acquaintances you have made over the years.

I was addicted to myspace for awhile. Then I started to only sign in to play mafia wars. Then my girlfriend got me on facebook so I could play bejeweled blitz. Both are just a waste of time, and they both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

I use facebook because it's very simple to use and straightforward. It's easy to find friends, and you easily choose who sees what in your profile. For a long time, I was very against getting a myspace or facebook page, but after I lost contact with some old friends for a while, I decided to cave and got a facebook account. Now I'm back in contact with old buddies and have met some new ones. I know that I'll always have the contact information for these people now, and am very pleased with knowing that.
