What are some good ways to promote an internet message board / website online?

Also stuff like facebook, and myspace, even webanswers if you are answering a question that has to do with your website topic, you can add a link to it. Obviously do not pointlessly spam your site, that is not cool at all, and you may get booted. You have to make sure when you add a link to your site, it is relevant to the topic.

Make sure to add your website or whatever to search engines. This is just one place it submits them to google, and like 19 others. I suggest though if you know a search engine other than these it will tell you what it submits it too. I just did it for one of my sites. Anyway I suggest that if you know of another website other than those you will see when you do it. Google the term submit website to search engine. Well good luck, this is very important, some will say it is not, unless you are a multi million dollar corp I would do it. I think it is the most important thing. Who can look at your site if it is not on a search engine lol. Good luck.

Make sure you confirm your emails for the search engines when you are done. You will know what I am talking about after you do it. You may already have done it, just in case you had not thought of it.
