Is it possible for the hp3600n to print a sheet that was originally scanned in as an 11X17?

I am in the WMIS system and want to print a sketch in 11x17 but all I get is an error message and not print. If it is put in LD Pro as 11x17 will I be able to print it on 8 1/2 x 14?
