First question is how do you know its working ok if you can't get the computer to see it? Do you have another wireless device that has connected correctly? If you know its working the next thing to check how close the computer is to the router. If its next to it, then fine but if there is some distance try moving it closer. If that is not the problem, can the computer see other wireless signals besides yours? If that is not the case, try resetting the wireless router and just do a base configuration with no security or any other special features implemented and see if the computer can see that. If so, then you can start adding security or other things to see if/when the problem comes back. If none of these work, I give up. Could be incompatible wireless signal between the two devices as well.
