Reinstallation of htl100.bpl

My comp. takes forever to turn on and when it does there is always an error message telling me to reinstall rtl100.bpl, and I cant figure out how to.

Do you know what program is trying to use it? If you don't need it, try uninstalling or turning it off. If its happening on startup and you don't know what it is you can try running 'msconfig' from the 'run' command, looking at the startup section, and try to figure out which one it is and disable it. It may be related to a spyware detector or other type software.

Do you mean rtl100.bpl?

Something is set to start up that uses that file. Only you know what is set to start with Windows so you'll need to do some clean-boot troubleshooting:
