Repair or Tech Support for Prismjet

I need someone to repair my 38" prismjet. I've replaced the black ink line, (it was cracked), done head wash, refilled ink, done numerous powerful cleanings; can't get it to print. It stopped laying down ink in the middle of a job - continued to run as though it was printing, but no ink was coming out. Live in north Florida area. Are there any repair people out there?

Prismjet 38" otherwise known as a Falcon Outdoor Jr. Printer has a K head by itself...other printhead shares 3 colours. If K is not printing at all and the line is filled with ink...then proceed as follows...check to see if K damper is filled totally with ink....Damper is the reservoir that is plugged into the printhead ink fitting. 1 damper for ea. colour. If totally filled you may have back pressure which will not allow ink draw. Dampers should only be half full for adequate ink movement. If damper has proper ink volume and no ink in ink line...usually I manually draw ink into at the damper. Unplug the damper from the printhead and use a 60cc syringe with a needle (careful not to push needle too far into damper...with a good seal @ the damper with the needle...draw syringe slowly..if no back pressure occurs at the syringe and no ink movement thru ink line then you have an air leak somewhere...generally this air leak can be at any fitting before the damper...connections @ the stainless steel ink lines(copper fittings) make sure the 'O' rings are round and not crimped in anyway. If you do achieve ink movement with drawing with syringe and damper gets partially filled as required.....do a Powerful cleaning...witness ink movement through the ink waste lines going into the waste bottle..if no ink movement...u may have a dry cap sponge(filter) apply solvent to sponge to moisten...attempt another cleaning after allowing printhead to soak on the solvent for atleast 15-20min. If after all this and no ink movement but ink line is filled with manual draw....and still no movement during Power cleanings then the ink pump or printhead or head fuse on main brd may be bad. Usually in your situation the 1st 2 mentioned is the normal repair! Hope this helps! If not call Signwharehouse and a Nationwide service dept known as GEI/Calgraph...800-842-8448 has a tech in your area!
