Samsung 42 in plasma hdtv

We've had our hdtv for 14 mos, for the last 3 mos we've noticed daily a blue patch that occurs on the two lower bottom quadrants of the screen. It isn't opaque or obstruct the view; it's like an elctra blue colored rectangular flim. It's most visable when the transmission has more white background. It occurs while viewing dvds or cable broadcasts. Is this the beginning of a major problem and is this inherit with plasmas?

It could be a speaker or other electronical equipment too close to the tv that is causing this problem. Reason being that they have maganents.

It could also be a result of burn in, but if you have only had you tv for 14 months you should get it checked out under warrenty. A tech called to your house should give you the best estimate of what is wrong and if it is fixable.
