Holy cow... it doesn't look like an easy fix:

Anyways, a quick thing you can try is uninstall Windows Update and see if reinstalling a fresh version will fix it. It could just be an older version that isn't updating itself for some reason.
I tried the above but it didn't work. As a last resort I reverted the computer to the factory condition when I bought it. Thanks for your answers.
Yeah, whatever works, man. Good job on getting the program to work. It seems like broken Windows files are the weirdest ones to figure out how they got corrupted, and the hardest to fix.
A couple of options:
If you have Daemon tools or Alchol 12% installed, uninstall them. Or you can manually unistall sptd.sys
If that doesn't work, then this tool has worked for lots of people.
