Unlock Windows Vista on Dell 1525

Try this:

1. Restart computer.
2. Before computer starts loading up press F8 for safe mode
3. From the list of options choose safe mode only
4. Chose a different user than the one without the password, or
5. If you get access to windows, go
6. To Start
7. To control panel
8. Select user accounts
9. Create a new administrator account with name of your choice.
10. Remove user with locked account if you like or retrieve data from that account.

I have downloaded Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 . I have personally tested it . It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password.

This laptop has a "hardware level" password. This means there was a password stored in the BIOS and it needs to be typed in before the computer can even attempt to go through to get into Windows, or boot from a CD.

The other issue can be there is a "software level" password. This is the one made in Windows and also can be broken. The best way around this is to do a search for "Windows Password Hack Boot CD". You will need to make this on another computer of course, as you will need to make a CD. Once thats made, just run it on the machine, follow the questions (press enter a few times) and it will let you clear the password.

One of those ways will definatly remove that password.
