Dude! when you're just "going on a walk" tell her you like her for more than a friend. Girls like guys with confidence. Approach her. Ask her out to a movie? Maybe make it a double-date so it doesn't seem too suspicious. Be like, "hey My friend Mike and his girl Jen and I are going to see Ironman? Wanna come?" Sorry for the retarded example.

This depends on how old you are and you never stated your age. If your in high school and you talk with her and you get along. You might just ask her if she would like to sit at lunch with you . If she says yes take it from there. This way she won't get the wrong ideal and at the same time you will know if she likes you. She could like you and you won't know til you ask her to do something with you. It may be that you will always just be friends. This way you won't feel so bad and asking her to have lunch is not like a real date. I think you know what I mean. If your in grade school just keep talking and laughing together.
