My single parent doesn't have much money and I want to attend a summer camp so that I won't be bored this summer and get into trouble. Any suggestion

Well you can get a job. or if you can't then you can't go. if there is no money then understand your mother. adults have it rough you know. if you cant go then get involved into community activities. try gardening or art. do something that entertains you but will also keep you out of trouble. i think you're old enough to know the difference between good and bad and i hope you will think before you act. try to support your parent don't mortify him/her with things she/he can't give you at the moment.

There are some camps that accept payment plans and some even accept financial aid. Check out camps that you would like to go to and call them and ask them if they accept financial aid or payment plans, if they do let your mom handle that part, as they will need information from her.
PS Financial aid is a program that will pay for the camp for you if your mother does not make enough money, you just have to find a camp that accepts it and you CAN go to camp.
