According to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention they have found at least one in 4 teenage American girls has a sexually transmitted disease. And over all about 9.1 million teens and young adults (aged 15-24) got an STD in 2000.
One reason is because teenage girls are not fully developed and most teens do not think they are at risk. STD's are also transmitted with oral.
Out of the 25+ STDs that are around these are the most common in teens:
-Chlamydia
-Gonorrhea
-Syphilis
-Trichomoniasis (Parasite)
-Genital Herpes: Herpes Simplex Virus
-Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
-Hepatitis B
-HIV/AIDS
If you want to know where these can be found in the body, prevention, how it is spread, symptoms, and possible treatments here's a website that can tell you all that:

Well part of the information I already have had, I actually had to do a project in college about teen sex- what dangers are found and how to help set awareness.
Keep helping to the people who are not aware about themselves. I think you did well to the project while you were in the college. But I did my project on forestry and silviculture in my university.
