I did babysitting when i was younger. You can try care.com for babystitting jobs in your area. Also maybe cleaning if you know your neighbors you can offer to clean houses. Another thing is walking pets for your neighbors. Its nothing to hard but it brings in some money!

That comment that says with parents permission is a lie. I am 16 years old and its hard enough for me to get a job. In order to get a job you need to be 18 for the most part these days. Your best bet with the economy is an under the counter job doing whatever you can. Of course babysitting isn't for everyone. As long as you have a work permit though...some places may consider...but not anymore.
