Are you trying to work over there? A work visa would allow you to stay longer.

You need to apply for a visa from the Austrian consulate. If you are there on buisiness because your company is sending you over, you can get a business visa. If you want to find a job there, good luck. Long wait and process. If you are a student, you can get a student visa. If you just want to sit around and drink good wine, eat great desserts and relax, you can usually get an extended stay visa if you can prove you have financial means to support yourself.
