About dallas toll fee

We've been to dallas, we pass by a toll fee of 40 cents and we are new in that place so we dont have the exact amount of 40 cents, we pay 50 cents and another 50 cents for the red lights to turn into green, but still red light, the machine is asking for exact 40 cents..my concern is can we be charge for that for a traffic violation.

If the light never changes to green then a camera will take a picture of your car, and you will receive a citation in the mail, if this happens schedule a court date to talk to the judge. If you live too far, just call the court clerk and and ask what you need to do in this case, and she will tell you whether or not a letter will do. God luck, Susu
